Available Positions:

Internship Description: The Legal Intern will work closely with the Director of Legal Education to write research memos and summarize False Claims Act (FCA) case law. Specifically, the Intern will help the Director draft the Qui Tam Quarterly Review and the Year-in-Review Journals. The Intern also has the opportunity to write a published paper about the FCA. The Intern can be remote or hybrid. TAF Coalition’s offices are located in D.C. near the Dupont Metro Station. 

Qualifications:

    – Must be a 2L or 3L as of Fall 2024 at an ABA accredited law school.
    – Outstanding legal research and writing skills.
    – Preferably with law review or other journal experience.
    – An interest in the False Claims Act and government whistleblower programs.
    – Highly organized and detail oriented.
    – Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
    – Excellent communication skills.

    Expectations: The student is expected to work approximately 12 hours per week for the semester. 

    Benefits: TAF Coalition will work with the student’s law school to arrange for the student to receive credit. If your school does not offer credit for unpaid work, TAF offers a stipend.
