Senior Counsel

TAF Coalition seeks Senior Counsel to assist Director of Legal Education and Executive Director in developing and organizing legal periodicals and legal education programs, including web seminars, audio conferences, publications, and symposiums. Senior Counsel duties will focus on the development and publication of our bi-weekly caselaw summaries and our False Claims Act and Qui Tam Quarterly Review journal, but will also include providing educational information to the public, as well as assisting with the preparation of amicus curiae briefs and comment letters, completing analytical research and writing assignments, and providing assistance to qui tam whistleblowers and their counsel.

Applicant must be a licensed attorney with excellent legal research and writing skills – preferably with law review or other journal experience. Applicant should be familiar with False Claims Act laws, financial fraud whistleblower programs, and other whistleblower issues. Applicant must be a self-starter, who enjoys community building and tackling “big picture” issues.

Salary: Starting annual salary for our licensed staff attorney ranges from $85,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and includes excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, retirement plan, Sep IRA plan, paid time off (PTO) and a hybrid work schedule.

Legal Research Intern

TAF Coalition is accepting applications on a rolling basis from students interested in fulfilling an internship requirement or seeking field experience.

Our Director of Legal Education is looking for assistance on discrete projects involving legal research and writing, research related to COVID-19 fraud, and other industry research.

    Digital Strategy Intern

    Internship description: The Digital Strategy Intern will work closely with the Director of Communications & Digital to execute social media campaigns to increase engagement across a variety of social networks and grow our list of email and podcast subscribers.

    For students with online advocacy talent and interest in law, this is an opportunity to get hands-on experience tackling complicated communications campaigns that will make a difference. Applicants should be comfortable with video editing software such as Adobe Suite products or Canva.
