Judge Aims to Prosecute Whistleblower's Lawyer

Predictable Weather?
So far, the U.S. Attorney's office in Baton Rouge has shown little interest in False Claims Act cases filed against the insurance industry.  One blogger suggests it might be because the U.S. Attorney there was formerly a partner with a Lafayette, Louisiana firm that specializes in defending the insurance industry.  U.S. District Judge Peter Beer has formally asked the U.S. Dept. Justice to explain.
