Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund (TAFEF).

TAFEF is a nonprofit, public interest, membership organization
dedicated to combating fraud against the Federal Government through the promotion and use of the Federal False Claims Act and its qui tam provisions.

TAFEF's $425 membership dues includes the following:

  • Access to TAFNET, TAFEF’s listserve dedicated to keeping False Claims Act lawyers up to date on the latest developments, while serving as a clearing house for legal problems that crop up.
     
  • Subscription to False Claims and Qui Tam Quarterly Review , the nation’s premier legal journal devoted solely to the False Claims Act and qui tam litigation. 
     
  • The TAFEF Legal Opinion Service, TAF’s electronic opinion service, which alerts the relators’ bar to the emerging case law, usually within 24 hours of official case publication.
     
  • Access to the FCA Legal Zone, TAF’s  members-only legal web site, which houses relevant Supreme Court decisions, circuit court opinions, legislation, legislative history, settlements, briefs, complaints, and more. 
     
  • Substantial Discount to Annual TAFEF Conference.

 

Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund Membership is limited to attorneys dedicated to representing qui tam relators. If, however, you have represented defendants in an FCA action and still want to become a member of TAFEF, please contact our office directly at 202-296-4826.
